Company history

Our enterprise was founded din 1986 as an Austrian-Hungarian joint venture. It operated on bonded area in Budapest and essentially dealt with export and import. The Austrian and Hungarian owners decided in 1990 to move the enterprise from the bonded area and to search a managing director with entrepreneurial spirit to be able to deal with production.

This was the time when the present managing director, Turcsányi, Imréné (Ida) took over the management of the limited liability company. The fundamental education, and special practice of the managing director directed the enterprise into a new field, namely paper processing. Pannonpack Kft got into a new -prospering - phase. In the meantime we acquired the company from the Austrian and Hungarian owners, the scope of owners got stronger with two family members, with Turcsányi, Imre and son. Thus the company became a real family enterprise.

The company got involved with an apparently small segment of packaging technology, with the production of envelopes and bags. And this was done at a time, when good-quality products similar in size and design were available on the market at dumping price. On the other hand it was clear that the big professional companies did not care about designing, producing the envelopes, letterheads, visit cards in small volume, but representative in appearance for the small enterprises, limited partnership companies which were established after one another.

In Hungary the function of the envelopes also changes. In addition to the traditional products produced on the simple 'postal requirements' - essentially due to the local expansion of the multinationals - the multi-window envelopes and bags colour printed on all sides from decorative materials. Thus the products became an advertising mediums, which carry information for the addressee even if the envelope is not opened. Professionally it meant for us that we had to get prepared for receiving demanding printing works and we formed the envelopes of different sizes and designs from basic material printed in sheet. By today the process has developed so far that the envelopes of almost all multinationals and important local companies, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies advertising agencies studios and parcel delivery services got into our hands.

The product range regularly gets even wider as several of the customers expect and demand the full range of the services. Therefore we produce plying-sole bags, promotion bags, forms, leaflets, posters as well.

The company owners, thus managers have specific qualification and 30-year expertise in paper processing and printing finish.

All of our fellow-colleagues master their profession and therefore they feel sure when taking all new technical finish. Their work style is to co-operate with the client from producing the idea up to the manufacturing the finished product, thus the final product is formed mutually. The main aim is to fully serve the client both in quality and by term. We transport the products with own vehicle to the user, where the quality and quantity are mutually checked upon handing over the goods.

Our present clients have already convinced themselves that it is worth to have the work done by Pannonpack Kft, as you will receive the goods and service by due date and in the quality - and not to forget - at favourable price as it is expected. We are convinced that this kind of work with this specific mentality will be in demand on the Hungarian market also in the long run, and our enterprise can rely on the clients' demanding service also in future.

Our enterprise has been operating at the premises under 2000 Szentendre, Dózsa Gy. út 26 for 15 years. The shop is situated in an industrial park. It can be easily reached on Road Nr 11. We have all technical equipment to receive lorries and to have a quick loading (manual lifting, forklifts, etc.). The 16-member staff working in the shop assists completely independent and responsible with accurately process the goods, to do taking-over - handing over.

The managers and trained fellow-colleagues are capable of realizing all inventive ideas dreamt of by the designers. We often cooperate with the designers from the birth of the idea up to the realization of the given product. Thus we can bravely state that the innovative creative solution of certain companies also depends on our brilliant execution.
